Chantal Marie Ingabire holds an MA in Medical Anthropology from the University of Amsterdam, the Netherlands, and a PhD in Public Health from Maastricht University, the Netherlands. She works as a senior researcher at the Community Based Sociotherapy (CBS) Rwanda and is currently involved in a four-year project that aims at intergenerational healing and community reconciliation for sustainable peace through community-based sociotherapy. Her published works focus on community-based participatory health research, psychosocial support, intergenerational transmission of genocide legacies, reconciliation and peacebuilding.
